Nathan White


A Charleston and West Ashley native, Nathan White joined the Coastal Financial Planning Group (CFPG) in 2019 as an Investment Advisor Representative. As a natural entrepreneur at heart, Nathan sought out an organization with a track record for success and resources with a vision that matched his own. Nathan’s philosophy in financial planning is to ensure that his strategies for individuals, families and business owners are personalized and tailored to achieve their specific goals. 

Stewardship is Nathan’s passion. From helping people meet small or short-term goals to achieving complete financial freedom, he wants to help steer individuals towards their best possible financial future. For him, this means serving his clients’ needs and not selling a company’s products. 

Before joining CFPG, Nathan was a financial representative for a national insurance carrier and broker, where his passion for helping clients with their financial needs began. Prior to embarking into a career in the financial services industry, Nathan was a successful entrepreneur—running a landscaping firm that served the Charleston area.

He is a Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC), a designation that denotes a focus in educating clients on insurance products. He holds a series 65 securities license and Life, Health, and Disability Producer’s licenses in the state of South Carolina. Nathan is also a National Social Security Advisor Certificate Holder.
Nathan attended Appalachian Bible College where he met his wife, Jessica, and he is the father of four beautiful children. Nathan is currently enrolled in the College of Charleston’s Certified Financial Planner Program.
